The Pod

The Pod is our specialist base for children who have a combination of social, emotional, and mental health needs and / or autism and was opened for Key Stage 1 in September 2022. It will open for Key Stage 2 in September 2023.

Provision

We offer a highly differentiated curriculum with access to speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, creative art and play therapy, and music therapy. Children attend lessons both in The Pod as well as their mainstream class. 

Facilities

The Pod was created in 2022 and this lovely new space has the following facilities: 

• Classrooms
• Bespoke outdoor play and learning area
• Therapy / Sensory Room

Staff

The Pod has a high staff to pupil ratio, and our team are: 

• Miss Widdowson - Manager and SENCO
• Mr Parkinson - Teacher
• Learning Support Assistants - Miss McIlroy and Miss Alderman

Admissions

All admissions are overseen by the Local Authority (Wandsworth Council) and places are only available for children with an EHCP. We're happy to arrange a tour for parents whose child fulfils this criteria.
