School Counsellor

Hello All! 

My name is David Fraser, and I am the Professional School Counsellor here at Swaffield.

Sometimes children can encounter a challenging experience that can cause them to behave differently, lose confidence in themselves or find it difficult to concentrate in class.

As the school counsellor, it is my goal to help children build a positive emotional, mental well-being. I help to do this by providing a confidential space where individuals can feel safe exploring their emotions and finding ways to cope.

I offer one-to-one counselling in the form of play therapy. Play therapy can help children manage their reactions to stress, anxiety, depression, anger and hyperactivity.
