Year 3 Poetry Winners At The Globe Theatre

We were really proud of our Year 3 Performance Poetry winners. Not only did they win a prize in this year's CLPE Clippa Performance Poetry Competition but they were invited to perform on stage at the world-renowned Globe Theatre. 

What a fantastic experience to be able to perform on such a famous stage where many actors and poets have brought words to life before them. The children were absolutely delighted to also meet the poet, Matt Goodfellow, whose poem "Cheers" from "Bright Bursts of Colour" was their selection for their entry into the competition. 

This is the second year running that Swaffield children have been winners in this fantastic competition. Well done!
