World Book Day

It was great to see all the children dressed in pyjamas or book characters. The day began with a special assembly with Mrs Bennett, Y5 teacher and English Lead.

Every child visited our pop-up bookshop and chose a free book to take home – we’re very grateful to Children’s Book Project for providing us with so many wonderful books to share. A highlight for the children was “buddy reading” during which our older children visited the younger children to read with them and share stories – a joy to see!
