Nicholas Stewart Project
Writing Competition

Earlier this term our children took part in this year’s Nicholas Stewart Project Writing Competition.

Find out more about the Nicholas Stewart Project by clicking on the logo.

Children were asked to  think about the impact Covid 19 has had on them and their family (home learning, staying at home, more family time, etc) and even on a bigger scale across the country and around the world.

Entries to the competition could be up to 500 words and was to be creative and written from the heart. It could take any form:

  • reflection
  • short essay
  • poetry
  • speech
  • interview
  • autobiography

There were some fantastic entries and we were delighted to hear that four children were awarded prizes. Congratulations to Cora, Maryam, Eddie, and Vanessa.

Watch Father Ian from St John’s Divine Church, who is part of the Nicholas Stewart Project, who tells us more and announces the winners.
