Autumn Term 2015

“As the autumn term progresses the children are focused on their learning and enjoying the wide range of activities that they take part every day as part of our broad, balanced curriculum.
Our newest children, who are in Nursery and Reception, are very much settled into their classes, enjoying being with their new friends and learning new things every day. We’re looking forward to welcoming parents into school to enjoy class performances and other events towards the end of the term”.

Whether you are a current pupil, parent or colleague
or are looking for the right school for your child to join,
I’d like to welcome you to this wonderful community school.

Swaffield School aims to provide an enjoyable and successful start to every child’s education and is truly in a class of its own in the way it does so.  I’m proud to have an experienced and enthusiastic staff whose focus is on providing a creative and inclusive environment for children to develop both academically and socially.

At Swaffield we provide an interesting and stimulating curriculum whilst at the same time putting considerable emphasis on the children’s physical, social and emotional development. You’ll find the atmosphere friendly, happy and fun but at the same time focussed to help each child reach their potential.

I hope that you will find our website useful, informative and easy to navigate.

Ofsted report July 2011
“I was both surprised and delighted at how personal Swaffield Primary School is despite its size. The children are treated as individuals.”
One of our parentsSwaffield Primary School provides a good education for its pupils…The school’s excellent care, guidance and support help pupils to develop confidence and maturity. As the pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent, pupils develop very well as articulate, courteous and considerate young people.”
